New Motion06 Curved Belt Conveyor Range from Adept Conveyor Technologies

Adept Conveyor Technologies has released a new range of Motion06 designed belt conveyor curves for the Australian and New Zealand markets that will set new standards for performance, reliability, price and delivery lead times through local assembly.

As an innovator in the materials handling industry, Adept Conveyor Technologies recognised the need to be able to offer belt conveyor curves to the Australian and New Zealand markets at competitive prices and with a much improved delivery lead times. The worldwide search began and it soon became apparent that the Motion06 product range exceeded all expectations for performance and reliability. Motion06 is an Austrian company with an enviable reputation in developing, building and installing intelligent conveyor equipment for the parcel/pack, industrial and airport industries.

The new standard range of belt conveyor curves is available in three pulley diameters (which correspond to three load ratings of up to 50kgs) and belt speeds of up to 2.5 metres per second, with nominal widths to 1500mm and inner radiuses to a maximum of 1500mm. These belt curves are available in angles that include 30, 45, 60 and 90 degree configurations. Special application variations are available on request.

Applications for this new range of conveyor belt curves include printing and paper industries, for the linking of packaging machines or other processes, warehousing systems, freight and courier industries, all the way through to airport applications.

The Benefits and Features of these Belt Curves are Many

  • Adjustment to the required installation dimensions so that these belt curves can easily be incorporated into any existing or new conveyor system designs.
  • Maintenance free belt guidance system, currently one of the most stable and robust on the market.
  • Designed and built for rapid assembly due to the modular construction. Perfectly optimised for easy transport and installation.
  • Energy efficient and ergonomic design.
  • Variable mounting options for drive packages, product sensors, lateral guides and supports are available, again to make integration into new and existing systems easy.
  • Very low noise emissions even at high speeds.
  • Although these belt curve conveyors are very reliable, they have been designed so that individual parts can be changed very quickly and with minimal downtime, in particular conveyor belt changes typically can be completed within half an hour thereby minimising downtime.

The new range of belt curves will be assembled locally at Adept Conveyor Technologies’ head office and factory from a range of genuine Motion06 parts and locally sourced quality components. This will enable industry leading lead-times, world class quality, longevity and competitive pricing for the system integrator or the end user. Comprehensive spare part storage, training and after sales service arrangements are available for customer peace of mind and ongoing trouble free operation of belt curve equipment.

In preparation for the new range of Motion06 belt curves, Adept Conveyor Technologies have also invested heavily in new machinery and employee training to maintain high quality standards during the assembly process.
