Chain Driven Roller Conveyors

Chain Driven Roller Conveyors

Chain-driven conveyors provide the greatest range of control, from simple to highly sophisticated. Adept will provide Chain-driven Conveyors of benchmark quality for a very competitive price.

Chain Driven Conveyor systems transmit drive to the individual rollers via a chain (or a timing belt or a V-belt). Belt under roller conveyors are also covered in this section.

  • Manufactured and designed in Australia
  • excellent accumulation and buffering
  • high speed options
  • premium quality components
  • benchmark quality – we make everything twice
  • the manufacturer advantage: Quality & great price
  • Extreme reliability and easy maintenance
  • full range of options, materials and accessories

OVERVIEW

Chain driven Roller Conveyors are extremely versatile and reliable, providing a host of excellent benefits for materials handling situations.

Generally used for short to medium conveyor lengths, transfer cars, shuttles and turning devices. Chain drive is suitable for low to medium speed applications while Timing Belt and V-belt drives can be used for high speed applications.

Belt under Roller Conveyors provide excellent accumulation and buffering and are extremely quiet.

  • Chain drive, timing belt drive, v-belt drive
  • belt under roller drive
  • steel, pvc, Polypropelene and Stainless Steel rollers
  • curves, merges, junctions, gates, cross-overs & turntables
  • accumulation & buffering: low or zero pressure
  • Mechanical roller control option
  • Standard modules available ex-stock
  • A full range of support stands

Belt Under Roller Conveyors

The rollers are driven by a belt running below them and in direct contact with them. These units are extremely quiet and smooth and are excellent for accumulation and buffering.

Belt under Roller Conveyors can be designed to provide not only “low pressure” accumulation of product, but also “Zero Pressure” (non-contact) accumulation where it is desirable for each product on the line to be accumulated without any adjacent product imparting line pressure. These Conveyors are the premium solution for low maintenance storage (buffering) between manufacturing cells or marshalling prior to palletizing or dispatch.
